For Blaine: Dalton bros

David has only been at Dalton for a few weeks now, but already he has heard about the Warblers. So when he hears acapella strains wafting down the hall, his curiosity gets the better of him, and he follows them.

He stays in the doorway, leaning against the frame a little, to watch the group as they sing.

Blaine nodded at that. "That's good. Following in their footsteps?"

"Something like that. It was...something I was good at, something that interested me."

He sat back a little. "What about you? How did you get into music?"

[mediumdrip]

Blaine thought about that. "Oh wow," he said. "You may as well as me how I got into breathing... It's always been a part of who I am."

"When did you start studying? I mean...I assume you took lessons of some sort?"

He's also assuming Blaine's training goes beyond just singing.

"When I was young. I started with the piano and vocals. Now I know a couple more instruments."

"Which is your favorite?"

[mediumdrip]

"The piano. It's very... calming."

[postponing_death]

"I love the piano," David said with a smile. "I always wanted to play."

[mediumdrip]

"I could teach you," Blaine suggested with a small smile.

He laughed softly. "Perhaps. I've taken a few lessons, only I never really took the trouble of practicing."

[mediumdrip]

"Ah," Blaine said, amused. "That is the key. I'm lucky I love it so much that practicing seems almost... fun."

"That's why I took to singing," David admitted. "Practicing never seemed like practicing. It just...seemed like singing."
